With her talented team in tow, Tobe Morrow delivers "effortless, classic and comfortable" feeling luxury residential projects through her design studio Morrow & Co.
A California native, with twenty years spent living in the Palisades, Tobe's work is inspired by the vast beauty of her upbringing and daily surroundings, prioritizing natural light and materials in her client projects.
We caught up with Tobe to discuss how she collaborates with her clients, the inner-circle stores for sourcing unique furniture and home goods, plus hopes for her hometown post January's devastating fires.
Introduce us to the team behind your design practice 👋
We are Morrow & Co., a full-service, boutique interior design practice led by Principal Designer, Tobe Morrow. Based in Brentwood, we collaborate closely with architects and contractors to seamlessly bring our clients' dream homes to life.

What are some commitments you make to your clients when they employ your services?
We are committed to delivering a smooth, collaborative design process. Every project is tailored to the client’s specific needs and style. Our goal is to create beautiful, functional spaces that feel timeless while being aligned with our clients’ lifestyles. Whether it's a renovation, new build, or decor refresh, we take great care in making each project unique and perfectly suited for the client’s everyday lives.

To what extent does being based in California influence your design choices?
Our California roots heavily influence our designs, blending a relaxed, curated feel with sophisticated, timeless elements. Whether it's the light-filled spaces of a beachside home, or the warmth of natural materials like wood and stone, we design with California's natural beauty and climate in mind.

Your business, and personal lives, are deeply rooted in the Pacific Palisades community. After the truly devastating fires experienced in January, what are your hopes for how the local neighborhoods regenerate in the near future?
I lived in the Palisades community for almost 20 years and raised my family there. This town has been the backdrop for so many precious memories and it will always hold a special place in my heart. Our deepest sympathies go out to the families who lost their homes and to the businesses affected by the fire. Some of our team members also lost their homes, so this tragedy feels very personal to us.
We are fully committed to rebuilding our community, brick by brick, and we’re collaborating closely with both builders and fire victims to help restore their homes. While our community will never be the same, we hope to come back even stronger, so that future generations can create the same kind of happy memories that we’ve been fortunate enough to experience.

Your website talks about your love of sourcing original furniture pieces from local thrift stores and markets. Spill the tea — where are some of your favorite spots for picking up unique pieces?
Some of our favorite spots are Hollywood at Home, The Collective in Woodland Hills, and Big Daddy's.
