1. Introduction

Thank you for visiting us.plankhardware.com (the “Website”). Please read these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) carefully before using the Website or purchasing any products. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

The Website is operated by Andcrafted Ltd, trading as Plank Hardware (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Plank Hardware”). We are a company incorporated in England and Wales with registered number 11827691 and business address at Unit C1, Leyton Industrial Village, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7QP, United Kingdom.

We sell and ship products exclusively to customers located in the United States through this Website. We do not maintain a legal entity in the United States. All orders are fulfilled by our US-based logistics partners on our behalf.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of the Website. They are divided into three parts: Part One covers the purchase of products, Part Two covers your use of the Website, and Part Three covers general terms applicable to both.

We recommend you save or print a copy of these Terms for your records.

PART ONE — PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS

3. Ordering Products

When you place an order through the Website, here is how the process works:

1. You add products to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. Please review your order carefully before submitting payment, as you will be able to correct errors before finalizing.

2. When you submit your order at the end of the checkout process, your payment method will be charged and you will receive an order confirmation email. At this point, a binding contract is formed between you and us for the purchase of those products.

3. Notwithstanding the above, we reserve the right to cancel any order after confirmation for the following reasons:

• the products are unavailable or out of stock;

• we are unable to verify or authorize your payment;

• a pricing or product description error has occurred on the Website;

• we suspect the order is fraudulent or has been placed by a reseller or distributor;

• the order exceeds reasonable quantity limits; or

• we are unable to ship to your location.

If we cancel your order for any of these reasons, we will notify you by email and issue a full refund to your original payment method as soon as possible.

We reserve the right to limit sales to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction, and to limit quantities of any product, at our sole discretion.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices on the Website are displayed in US Dollars (USD) and do not include delivery charges or applicable taxes. Delivery costs and any sales tax will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

We accept the following payment methods: credit and debit cards via Shopify Payments (including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover), PayPal, and Revolut Pay. All payments must be authorized by the relevant payment provider.

Your payment method will be charged when your order is placed. If we are unable to fulfill your order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund for the unfulfilled items.

All prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

5. Sales Tax

Where required by applicable state or local law, sales tax will be calculated and added to your order at checkout. The amount of tax charged will depend on the delivery address and the applicable tax rates in that jurisdiction.

6. Shipping and Delivery

We ship to the continental United States, Hawaii, and Alaska. We currently use USPS and UPS to deliver products, though we may use alternative carriers at our discretion. During checkout, you will be shown available shipping options and costs.

Shipping options

• Standard shipping (USPS or UPS): 5–14 business days, $10 flat rate. Free on orders over $150.

• Express shipping (UPS 2nd Day Air): 3–5 business days, rates calculated at checkout.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1–2 business days from our US logistics partners. The estimated delivery date will be set out in your Confirmation Email.

If an event outside our control affects delivery, we will notify you and provide a revised estimate. We are not liable for delivery failures caused by events beyond our control or incorrect delivery information provided by you.

Unless otherwise agreed, if we cannot deliver your products within 30 days of the Confirmation Email, we will notify you, cancel your order, and issue a full refund.

Risk in the products passes to you when you (or a person you have nominated) take physical possession of the products.

7. Returns and Refunds

Our returns policy

We offer a 60-day returns policy from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, items must be undamaged, in their original packaging, and in sellable condition. Items that have been modified in any way (including painting) are not eligible for return.

To initiate a return, please use our Online Returns Portal or contact us at talk@plankhardware.com. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. A $10 restocking fee per order will be deducted from your refund.

If you would like to exchange items, please return your original order and place a new order for the replacement items separately.

Once we have received your returned items, we will process your refund within 5–10 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Damaged or defective items

If you receive damaged or defective items, please contact us at talk@plankhardware.com within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order before it has shipped, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate cancellation requests, but once an order has been dispatched, it will need to be processed as a return.

8. Product Warranty

Unless otherwise stated on a specific product listing, Plank Hardware provides a one-year limited warranty on all products sold through the Website, commencing from the date of delivery. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

What this warranty covers

If a product is found to be defective within the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund the product.

What this warranty does not cover

This warranty does not cover: damage resulting from misuse, improper installation, modification, accident, or normal wear and tear; cosmetic damage including scratches and dents that do not affect functionality; or products that have been painted or otherwise altered.

How to make a warranty claim

To make a warranty claim, contact us at talk@plankhardware.com with your order number, a description of the defect, and photographs where possible. We may ask you to return the product at our expense for inspection.

Installation and Third-Party Fees

We are a supplier of goods only and do not provide installation services. We are not responsible for any fees charged by third-party contractors, including but not limited to, installation costs, "call-out" fees, or diagnostic charges. It is your responsibility to ensure the products are suitable and that any contractor's terms are agreed upon independently of your purchase from us.

Limitation

EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET OUT ABOVE, AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

Please note that we are unable to reimburse third-party installation costs in connection with any warranty claim.

9. Product Descriptions and Images

We make every effort to display product colors and images as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your device’s display will accurately represent the actual color of a product. Products may vary slightly from images shown on the Website.

All product descriptions, specifications, and pricing are subject to change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. If we cannot supply a product you have ordered, we will notify you and offer a full refund or a suitable alternative.

10. Your Account

You may create an account on the Website to manage your orders and save your details. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at talk@plankhardware.com if you suspect any unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to disable any account at any time if, in our reasonable judgment, you have breached these Terms.

PART TWO — USE OF THE WEBSITE

You are responsible for ensuring that your information technology and devices are configured to access the Website. You should use your own virus protection software.

You must not misuse the Website. In particular, you must not:

• use the Website for any unlawful purpose or to solicit unlawful activity;

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT(S) GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF YOU RESIDE IN SUCH A STATE, THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Plank Hardware, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: your use of the Website, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any applicable law, or any content you submit to us.

23. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your state of residence provide otherwise.

Informal resolution: If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at talk@plankhardware.com. We will try to resolve your concern informally within 30 days.

Jurisdiction: If informal resolution is not successful, any legal proceedings must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section limits your right to bring claims in small claims court in your county of residence, if applicable.

Consumer rights preserved: Nothing in these Terms shall affect your rights as a consumer under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the state in which you reside.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting the revised version on the Website with an updated “Last updated” date. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

For material changes that significantly affect your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (such as by email or a prominent notice on the Website) at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

28. Assignment

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organization. We will notify you in writing if this happens and will ensure the transfer does not adversely affect your rights. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent.

29. Third-Party Rights

These Terms do not confer any rights on any person or entity other than you and Plank Hardware.
